My Spiritual Names
	It is said, “a good name is rather to be chosen than great riches.” Names are more than a means of identification. Each name carries its own message, its own gift. ’Rohanna’ is the Sanskrit name given by my tantra spiritual teacher, C.F.Raman, which symbolizes transformation and elevation. ‘Rukmini’ is the Sanskrit name given by my yoga master, Swami Srinivasananda, which represents devotion, firmness, steadiness and loyalty to the divine. Rukmini means the radiance of shimmering gold; glowing with pure, spiritual light – the light of the Divine and Self-realization. ‘Mare Cheia’ (meaning High Tide in Portugese) is the name given by my Brazilian Capoeira Master Ousado, who says water is observed as a feminine energy and deep beneath the waves, the tides ebb and flow with the moon. Mare Cheia symbolizes being a part of all life and is the symbol of feminism, beauty, sexuality and fertility.	“She walks in beauty, like the night of cloudless chimes and starry skies…” ~ Lord Byron
