TANTRA YOGA
Dhira Lawrence - Green Tara Tantra breaks from the Vedic tradition of renouncing the material world, and views the material world, not as an illusion veiling God, but instead, an expression and extension of God. Tantra embraces all of life as Divine. “You are a Divine Being experiencing a human life.” You begin by viewing yourself and others as Divine Beings. Tantra reminds us not to waste this human existence, but grow in consciousness while simultaneously experiencing the fullness of this life, this becomes expanded awareness.

Tantra Yoga is a golden opportunity to reach higher states of consciousness and change your life, gaining all-round development of body, mind, and soul. Tantra Yoga regards the body as a sacred ground for the Divine Self to be realized. The aspirant who follows the path of Tantra Yoga with desire for spiritual growth, love, and devotion can attain Self-realization.

“The staircase has two ends: on one end it is the lowest, on another end it is the highest. So tantra and yoga are not opposites – complementary. Yoga is the primary, the basic, from where you have to start. But then one should not cling. A moment comes when one has to transcend yoga and move into tantra; and finally you have to leave the whole staircase – yoga and tantra both. Alone in yourself, deep in rest, one forgets everything.” ~ Excerpt from: Osho’s: The Supreme Understanding, Chapter 8: Cut the Root
